What is feedback and why do we need it?  

Feedback is a comment/opinion that someone gives on a completed piece of work. We need feedback to know where to improve and feedback can also get you motivated. Furthermore, feedback can also improve performance.

One of the main sources we used to share information is teams and through teams we can get to padlet.  

What is padlet? And how do we use it?

Padlet is a digital tool that we use to access other people's blogs. We access padlet through teams and then it takes us to the padlet board displaying everybody's bloggers.

What is a checklist and why do we need it?

A checklist is a list of requirements such as things to do. We need a checklist to make sure we are up to date with what we need to do and see what is left to finish  

Responding to feedback  

The first lot of feedback I have received was in a group discussion, we discussed how we are getting along with original compositions. We played some of the ideas in lesson and gave feedback to each other, there was too much positive feedback instead of critical criticism to help people improve, this was because we didn’t know each other well enough, and we were scared of hurting each other's feelings.  

I also had feedback on my blog  

Leon’s EPK is amazingly descriptive. When talking about how they became a guitar player, who their inspirations. Fantastic detail of where they’ve performed at and with some imbedded links showing the Reader some footage of the Basecamp gig and the recording studio performance of Decepticon By L’Tigre. Great work as always.

This feedback is okay. However, I could do with some more critical comments to improve on my blog.  

 

One to One feedback with tutor

On the 15^th of February I had a professional discussion with Steve Hoggart my tutor. This was recorded so I could access it back. We spoke about what I wanted to do in my career and about my blogger. Since Blogger is new to me, I found it difficult to navigate where everything was and the correct places to upload them. The main thing I took away from this was that I needed to create a logo.  I am also looking into creating a website to link onto my blogger. We also spoke about uploading videos of me playing onto my blogger. I have currently uploaded 2 and plan on uploading new videos in the future.
